Pitigliano
- 19 March TORCIATA OF SAN GIUSEPPE
It is the most typical event of our country. A group of torcitori (men holding burning torches) burn a scarecrow made of reeds and straw, called "invernaccio", in hope for a fruitful year for crops. The event is preceded by a folkloric show of flag-wavers and a historical parade. - Mid August PETILIA FESTIVAL

4 days Festival, with wine and local food tastinng in the typical cellars dug into the tuff rock, accompanied by live music and lots of fun! You can also attend the award ceremony for the better cantinella (little cellar).
