Cantinaccia di Sopra Farmhouse
Our farmhouse, built at the beginning ot the XXth century, has been completely and finely renovated, maintaining the original architectural features of the external structure completely in stone, and preserving special details inside the apartments (old chimneys, niches and some oak-beamed ceilings).
The farmhouse is approximately 465 meters above sea level and is surrounded by a large green property where you can get lost among the quiet and typical Tuscan hills.
The apartments are called CASA ROSA","CASA GIALLA, and CASA VERDE; they are wide and comfortable, with a front porch and independent entrance. Outside you will find the old wood oven, once used for bread baking, the "laundry niche", a large portico with a pergola of concord grapes, dating back to the early XXth century.
The garden all around is a landscape of roses in bloom, where you can find a thousand pleasant places to rest. The pool is equipped with a large solarium, from where you''ll be able to get a glimpse of Pitigliano and all the small villages on the mountains. You can have fun with archery or bycicling surrounded by beautiful nature. The landscape will offer you peace and relax; you'll be able to stroll the trails surrounding the "Selva del Lamone", towards Lake Mezzano and maybe you'll meet hares, pheasants, as porcupines and all that nature can give us. We'd like to welcome you and offer you an old-times feel.
